We are Nicolas, Sabrina, and Fabian – three friends with a shared passion for good food and exciting experiences. Gourmet Detectives was born out of this enthusiasm! We wanted to create a tour that would excite us, and in doing so, we developed a unique blend of puzzle tour and culinary tour – something that doesn't yet exist in Hamburg.

Why Gourmet Detectives? We noticed that classic guided tours often have a fixed pace and a strict itinerary, leaving little room for spontaneous discoveries. Pure puzzle tours, on the other hand, often felt a bit dry and lacked the culinary experience. This led to the idea of ​​combining the two: a tour where you solve tricky cases while strolling leisurely through Hamburg's streets, stopping at charming cafés and restaurants to indulge in culinary delights. And the best part? Thanks to our app, you can tailor the tour entirely to your own pace, without relying on a tour guide.

We are particularly passionate about collaborating with Hamburg's hidden culinary gems. We wanted to include places that might not yet be on everyone's "to-eat" list, but are definitely worth discovering.
